We take a personalised, bespoke approach to each case, understanding that every person’s experience is unique. Our commitment goes beyond legal advice; we offer continuous, personal support, becoming close partners to the families we serve throughout their journey.

In addition to our expertise in securing justice, we are dedicated to supporting families in every way we can. Even when there is no legal claim, our team is committed to the welfare of those affected by cauda equina syndrome. We work with rehabilitation providers, support services, and fellow professionals within the Legal Support Service to ensure families receive the best possible guidance and resources.

We also offer free initial advice to help you understand your legal options, and in most cases, we work on a No Win, No Fee basis, ensuring there’s no financial risk to you. We’re here to help answer your questions, provide support, and guide you toward a brighter future.

Michael Gray

Partner
Head of Spinal Injury Unit

Chris Gutteridge, a leading barrister in this area from Exchange Chambers, attests to our approach, noting:

“Working with Fletchers, and in particular with Michael and his team, is made so much easier by the way in which the cases are understood and prepared. Michael and his team are very knowledgeable and forensic in their approach to understanding the issues. They have lots of experience with some of the most complex cases that we see. It can’t be said for every firm, but Fletchers really do take the time to get to know the individual at the heart of these cases and go the extra mile.”

Dan O’Keeffe

Email: danokeeffe@fs.co.uk

Dan O’Keeffe specialises in CES claims. His notable achievements include representing the claimant in the landmark case of X v University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (2019), where there was a negligent delay in diagnosing and treating CES. He actively participates in numerous medico-legal projects and forums, championing the rights and interests of those affected by CES. His expertise has also been instrumental in achieving successful outcomes in medical negligence cases that were rejected by other firms.
